Rob Benjamin

Justin Echevarria

Justin is Power Arm- New Jersey's resident catching expert. Using his experience as both a professional player and college coach, Justin specializes in providing elite-level catching and hitting instruction, with a focus on helping athletes develop both physically and mentally.  
His resume includes:
-5 years of D1/D2 college coaching experience working with catchers and hitters
-2010 MLB Draft Selection by San Diego Padres
-2-time American East All-Conference award winner
-Member of America East All- Tournament Team 2008, 2010
-Member of America East Academic Honor Roll 2007 & 2010; 2008 All-Championship Team
-Named to the Johnny Bench Award Watch List, given to the nation’s best collegiate catcher
-Led America East in throwing out potential baserunners at 45%
Additionally, Justin is the Co-Director of Catchermtrx Training Program, a wholistic approach to the art of catching. His program provides a unique training environment where catchers' physical and mental capabilities are pushed every session.
 The Catchertrx Matrix Development Program is effective for athletes looking to:
-Increase speed, power, and flexibility specifically geared towards the catcher position
-Increase arm strength and pop-time through the analysis & refinement of throwing mechanics
-Understand the importance of the pitcher/catcher relationship; as well as the importance of a positive and honest relationship with the umpire
-Improve footwork for fielding bunts, pop ups and balls to the back-stop.
-Understand the mental aspect of the catcher position and how to become an extension of the coaching staff.

John Saviano

Jared Graziano

Jared Graziano is currently a lead group-training instructor & staff pitching instructor for Power Arm, Ramsey. Jared has been a vital addition to the Power Arm staff, as he brings years of elite playing and coaching experience with him allowing him the ability to customize his instruction to the age and skill-level of his clients. As a Power Arm instructor, Jared provides individual, small group, and team training.

A native of Freehold, NJ, Jared is the owner of the New Jersey Marlins baseball organization and graduate of UMBC (D1) and Felician University (D2), where he played for both university baseball teams. Jared played high school baseball at Red Bank Catholic High School, where he helped lead the Caseys to two back-to- back divisional titles and earned All Division and All-Conference honors.

After his four years at RBC, Jared did a post-graduate year at the Peddie School and earned First Team NJ All-Prep. Jared was also named an UnderArmor Pre-Season All-American and to the Perfect Game All-Northeast and All-Underclass team. At UMBC, Jared played for three years at the Division 1 level as a pitcher. After his junior year, Jared underwent stem cell surgery on his right shoulder so he could continue his playing career.

After taking a year off to rehab, Jared finished up his college career at nationally ranked Division 2, Felician University, in Rutherford, NJ. Coming out of the bullpen for the Falcons for his senior season, he averaged 8.44 strikeouts per game, a .208 batting average against, allowed 3 walks, and posted a 3.38 ERA in 22.1 innings pitched. Through his senior tenure, Jared helped his team to a 2016 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Championship, which earned the Golden Falcons an automatic bid to an NCAA Regional.

During his summers, Jared also played in high-level collegiate summer leagues such as the New York League and the Valley League in Virginia. Post graduation, Jared was an assistant coach for the 2017 Felician University team, coaching alongside Power Arm Performance coaches Matt Marotta and Mike Mobbs.

Jared now looks to continue his father, Edward Graziano’s, legacy by manning the helm of the New Jersey Marlins organization. He will continue the tradition of teaching the youth the fundamentals of baseball and helping them obtain their dreams of playing at the collegiate level.

Jay Collazo


Dyonna Pagliocca

Dyonna serves as Power Arm Performance's Director of Softball and Head Softball Trainer. She approaches every lesson and program with the philosophy of combining safe athletic development with positive mental reinforcement to help her clients improve. In addition to overseeing the creation and execution of Power Arm Softball training programs, she provides private/group instruction, along with sport-specific strength and conditioning training.
Coach Dyonna has been pitching since the age of nine. Her passion and sincere love for the game was instilled in her at a very young age by her father. Coach Dyonna was a 4-year varsity player at Wood-Ridge High School (NJ), collecting accolades like team captain and All-League pitcher. She is a former player for the Central Jersey Lightning and Livingston Thunder, as well as various other elite travel teams.
Following high school, Dyonna played softball for 4 years at Felician University. A member of the National College Athlete Honor Society, Chi Alpha Sigma, she was also named to the 2017 CACC All-Academic Team. After completing her degree in Biology, with minors in Chemistry and Psychology, coach Dyonna realized that her passion for coaching younger athletes is undeniable. Always intrigued by the field of science and medicine, she strived to find a tie between the two and her true passion- softball.
Some of her coaching experience includes the 18U Elite (Heist Organization) and 18U NJ Rage. Coach Dyonna has recently also accepted the JV Softball Coach position at Immaculate Conception High School this upcoming Spring of 2018.
"My dad would tell me every day how important practicing was and it was not until my career was over that I realized a lot of missed opportunities that were in my control. My goal in life is to help lead aspiring softball players in the right direction, with the right tools and knowledge to create success. My past experiences help to enlighten my clients on the important things in life, as well as how the skills you develop as an athlete will build a great foundation for the 'real world' ".
Focusing on the importance of fitness and nutrition, coach Dyonna is a certified personal trainer by the American Sports and Fitness Association (ASFA®). She specializes in pitching, fielding, hitting, and speed/agility training. Coach Dyonna is CPR/BLS certified by the American Heart Association.

Melissa Defreese-Moore

Melissa serves as one of Power Arm Performance's lead softball instructors, providing individual, small group, and team training to softball players of all ages and levels.
Melissa was a four year Varsity Starter at Miami Palmetto Senior High from 2000-2004. She carries accolades such as All-County Selection, All-State Selection, Team MVP, Gold-Glove, and Defensive Player of the Year. Additionally, her team won numerous District, Conference, and State Championships.
Melissa was a four year starter/infielder at Florida Atlantic University from 2004-2008. She was coached by softball legend Joan Joyce. Additionally, the team participated in Atlantic Sun Conference Championships, the Sun Belt Conference Championship, and many NCAA Tournament Appearances.
After her amazing career at Florida Atlantic University, Melissa coached from 2009-2014 in Florida. She was the Head Coach for Miami Stingrays Gold (Travel and Showcase Teams). She was the Miami Palmetto Senior High Head JV Coach as well as the Miami Palmetto Senior High Varsity Hitting and Infield Coach. Melissa also coached at Broward College as the Hitting and Infield Coach.
In 2014, Melissa decided she wanted to play Slowpitch for the Women’s USSSA Traveling Tournament Team and continues to play present day. Additionally, she plays for the CoEd USSSA Traveling Tournament Team (Division C).
Melissa has moved to New Jersey, conveniently two minutes away from our Ramsey, NJ facility. In Florida, Melissa was heavily involved with private hitting and infield lessons whether it was individual lessons, groups, or camps. She has many years of experience and knowledge and is excited to become a part of Power Arm Softball.

Ashley Owens

Rachel Wasilak

Rachel serves as one of Power Arm Performance's lead softball instructors, providing individual, small group, and team training to softball players from Little League to the collegiate level. She brings a wealth of experience with her from her time playing at William Paterson University, where she succeeded in building one of the best careers in school history.
Rachel is a two-time all-region and all-conference selection who had started all 124 of her career appearances, hitting .345 while collecting 138 hits, 26 doubles, 73 RBI and 72 runs scored. She was named to the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) All-East Region Third Team and All-NJAC First Team in 2016, and in 2014 earned a spot on the NCAA Championship Salisbury All-Regional Team. Rachel also won the Women's Athlete of the Year award from William Paterson.
As a high school player, Rachel was a first-team all-conference and all-county, and second-team all-Group 4 selection as a senior at Livingston High School. She posting a .344 average, 29 runs scored, 29 RBI, 14 stolen bases, seven doubles and seven triples while winning the conference, county and Group championships.
As a junior, Rachel hit .454 with 38 runs scored, 31 RBI, 16 stolen bases, six doubles and six triples, earning first-team all-conference, all-county and all-Group honors and third-team all-state accolades as a junior. She also compiled a .403 average, 19 RBI and 15 runs scored, earning spots on the All-Conference Second Team and All-County Third Team her sophomore year. She played for the Livingston Thunder for 10 years.
Rachel brings so many great qualities to the Power Arm Softball staff. She provides hitting, fielding, and catching lessons. Additionally, Rachel is a certified personal trainer.
